The Social Entrepreneurship in Turkey Research, which was conducted by IstasyonTEDU, KUSIF, Impact Hub Ankara, Impact Hub Istanbul and Mikado Consulting under the umbrella of the Turkey Social Entrepreneurship Network (TSGA), funded by the World Bank, and aims to reveal and map the state of the social entrepreneurship ecosystem and develop policy recommendations, has been completed.
Within the scope of the research, provincial workshops organized in Adana, Ankara, Bursa, Gaziantep, İstanbul, İzmir, Kayseri, Kayseri, Muğla, Samsun and Van provinces to disseminate updated information at the local level and to map local/regional actors through face-to-face interaction were completed at the end of March. Preparations for the regional and thematic consultation meetings organized online with invited participants selected from among the various actors who participated in the provincial workshops were completed.
The findings of the research, which was conducted under the responsibility of İstasyonTEDÜ in collaboration with Dr. Selin Akyüz, Lecturer at the Department of Political Science and International Relations, were presented at the 11th Social Entrepreneurship Community of Practice (SECoP) meeting. The research report, which was finalized according to the feedback received, was published as open source.
