International Students in the Kurtuluş Park

International students in Ankara gathered on December 8th with the coordination of IstasyonTEDU intern Estefany Guecha and support of the International Programs Office to collect cigarette butts in Kurtuluş Park. The “Collecting the Butts” movement, initiated by a group in France, inspires thousands of people around the world to clean up cigarette butts that are thought to be the most common type of litter. Students collected about 5,000 cigarette butts in Kurtuluş Park.
