'Teachers are the Insurance of Education' Project

The Teachers as Insurance for Education Project, carried out in partnership with the Zurich Foundation, Zurich Turkey and the Turkish Education Association, with the participation of various departments of TED University, aims to support female teachers who are assigned to a village or district in their first years of their profession. The project aims to reach 1,000 female teachers by 2023.

IstasyonTEDU contributes to the design of methods and tools that can be used to 'become a changemaker' in the Project. These methods and tools are planned to be conveyed in a face-to-face event with more than 300 teachers in November 2022.

The 'Teacher Creating Social Impact' Program Meeting was held in Antalya between 16-19 November 2022. Over 500 teachers attended the meeting.

The project, which aims to support 1000 female teachers to lead change in the villages and districts where they work, received an award at the "Possible Together" category in the Common Futures Award Program organized by the Turkish Confederation of Employers' Unions (TİSK).
