Catalyst 2030 Turkey Chapter Has Been Established

Catalyst 2030 Turkey Chapter, which is coordinated by İstasyonTEDU Social Innovation Center on behalf of the Turkey Social Entrepreneurship Network (TSGA), launched on August 30, 2023, at the Catalyst 2030 General Assembly. Catalyst 2030 defines itself as a rapidly growing global movement consisting of individuals and organizations aiming to contribute to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by the year 2030. The purpose of the 23 country and 6 regional chapters established under Catalyst 2030 is to enable members to collaborate at the local level and contribute to the collective action of all chapters in achieving the SDGs.

Following the launch of the Chapter within the network İstasyonTEDU started to coordinate the foundations of the governance structure, fields of activity and action groups of the Chapter. On 12th of December, an online National Launch Event of the Chapter was organized. During the event, the general structure of Catalyst 2030 Global and activities of Catalyst 2030 was presented to the participants. Productive discussions on participants expectations and contributions from the chapter, roadmap and governance mechanism were held.
