Sinem Gökçe


Sinem Gökçe joined IstasyonTEDU in September 2018, where she leads the work on project development and management. She previously worked at the public sector and academic institutions. She also managed her own consultancy company. She worked on issues such as public grants, investment feasibilities, sectoral evaluations, market analyses, public innovation and entrepreneurship. She volunteered for Sen De Gel and for Community Volunteers (TOG).

She studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Bilkent University (BS), Engineering Management at METU (MS), Management and Organization at İnönü University (PhD). Her PhD thesis is on project management. She has published articles on organizational behavior, management, leadership and innovation.


Ekin Keskin

Project Coordinator

Ekin Keskin has been in the team since May 2022. She has made academic publications on rural development, agricultural innovation, clusters, and innovation systems. She worked full time in institutions such as Eurasian Strategic Research Center (ASAM), METU Tekpol, Flying Broom Women’s Association and as a consultant at UNDP and FAO in Turkey. She worked on innovation and development issues in the Netherlands, Ethiopia (@ILRI), Kenya (@ILRI) and India (@LINK) in different innovation related projects of UNU MERIT. With the awareness of gender equality importance and her sensitivity to contributing to civil society, she worked for Antes Foundation and World Mass Media Research Foundation (@Ankara International Film Fest) as a coordinator and voluntarily supported the Gökyüzü Sanatsal İyilik (GÖKSİV) Foundation. She completed her undergraduate degree at Ankara University, Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of Business Administration, and her master’s degree in Science and Technology Policy Studies at METU.

Elif Muratoğlu

Engagement Coordinator

 Elif joined the team in 2022. She studied City and Regional Planning (BS Degree) and Urban Policy Planning and Local Governments (MS Degree) in Middle East Technical University. She worked at Regional Environmental Center (REC Turkey), UCTEA Chamber of Urban Planners, RKSoft and Middle Black Sea Development Agency. Since her high school years, she took part in voluntary work in organizations such as Ankara Provincial Children Committee on Children Rights, UCTEA Chamber of Urban Planners Student and Women Commissions and Community Volunteers Foundation. While she was working in OKA, she carried out youth information activities as the Eurodesk Contact Person. In her master’s thesis, she worked on establishing a framework for measuring the social impact of urban plans. Her areas of interest are urban sociology, social impact oriented local policy design and strategic spatial planning.

Başak Şahan


Başak Şahan has joined the team in October 2021. She is a second-year industrial design student at TED University. In her high school years at TED Alanya College, she took an organizator role in National Forum. Also, she was an active member of the Scientific Projects and Experiments Club and she made contributions to planning and organizing various events. Also, she has a design blog that includes her sketches and reflection papers. Her interest in social entrepreneurship was arise with the project “WeWALK” and starting to make research on the subject.

Didem Taştan


Didem Taştan has joined the team since October 2021. She is a 4th year psychology student. Since 2017, he has been involved in many social responsibility projects in the Turkish Education Association Full Education Scholarships Ankara group Türk Eğitim Derneği Tam Eğitim Busrlular Ankara grubu) together with scholarship students like her. In 2019, she volunteered in the Askıda Kütüphane project, which aims to provide book support to schools that do not have a library. She took part in the Bin Turna Bir Umut project, which is an important social responsibility project taken over by the Turkish Education Association(TED), which raises funds for Ted scholarship holders. She was e-volunteer at the Sosyal Ben Foundation in 2020. Her areas of interest are human rights, violence against women, and gender equality.
