Sinem Güravşar Gökçe
General Coordinator
Since July 2018, Sinem has conducted research in the fields of social entrepreneurship and social innovation, designed and implemented training programs, and took part in ecosystem development activities within the scope of many projects and programs carried out at İstasyonTEDÜ. She previously worked as an academician and practitioner at various universities. She worked in the fields of program design and investment support at Fırat Development Agency. She experienced entrepreneurship by establishing her own training and consultancy firm for a while. She voluntarily took part in non-governmental organizations such as Community Volunteers Foundation and SendeGel. She received her undergraduate degree from Bilkent University Electrical and Electronics Engineering, her master's degree from METU Engineering Management and her doctorate from İnönü University in Management and Organization. She has academic publications on organizational behavior, management, leadership and innovation. In addition to project management, which is her doctoral area of expertise, she worked in the fields of government supports, investment feasibility, sectoral evaluations, market analysis, entrepreneurship and public sector innovation.
Aslı Aygüneş
Projects Officer
Aslı joined İstasyonTEDU team as a Project Officer in 2023. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in American Culture and Literature from Bilkent University in 2015 and her master’s degree in Women’s and Gender Studies from University of South Florida, USA. She recently defended her dissertation titled “Mobilizing with Affect: Gendered Experiences and Practices in the Feminist Movement in Turkey” and finished her Ph.D. in Gender Studies at Sabancı University at the end of 2022. Among many conference presentations, she also took part in two research projects, funded by Raoul Wallenberg Insitute and Swedish Institute, as a project assistant. Her research interests include feminist movement and activism in Turkey, affect theory, and role of emotions in building transformative feminist organizing practices.
Elif Muratoğlu
Stakeholder Engagement Officer
Elif joined the team in 2022. She studied City and Regional Planning (BS Degree) and Urban Policy Planning and Local Governments (MS Degree) in Middle East Technical University. She worked at Regional Environmental Center (REC Turkey), UCTEA Chamber of Urban Planners, RKSoft and Middle Black Sea Development Agency (OKA) Planning, Programming and Coordination Department. Since her high school years, she took part in voluntary work in organizations such as Ankara Provincial Children Committee on Children Rights, UCTEA Chamber of Urban Planners Student and Women Commissions and Community Volunteers Foundation. While she was working in OKA, she carried out youth information activities as the Eurodesk Contact Person. In her master’s thesis, she worked on establishing a framework for measuring the social impact of urban plans. Her areas of interest are urban sociology, social impact oriented local policy design and strategic spatial planning.
